Mt Pleasant CFS welcomes all new members

There are a number of roles that assist the CFS to support the community and you can choose how you want to get involved. From road crash rescue to fire fighting, administration and catering, the roles within the Mt Pleasant CFS include:

Fire fighters

  • Fire fighter
  • Rural fire fighter
  • Breathing apparatus (structural and road crash rescue)

Road Crash Rescue

Assist other agencies SA Police (SAPOL), SA Ambulance Service (SAAS), State Emergency Service (SES)

  • Helicopter landings (as an example)

Communications

  • Radio operation

Auxiliary members

  • Catering
  • Administrative support
  • Community education
  • Fundraising

Friends of the CFS

  • Catering

All you need is your time and enthusiasm.

CFS will provide personal protective equipment and training suited to the role you would like to take.

You can find out more by talking with current volunteers of the Mt Pleasant CFS at a training night; held every Tuesday at 7pm (1900hrs), or feel free to contact the Mt Pleasant CFS Captain
